APPROVAL OF THE ARTS CONNECT GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS FOR MIDDLE AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $51,083 will provide teacher and artist training, artists-in-residence, and field trips to community arts venues for teams of teachers and their students from eight elementary and middle schools.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Arts Connect grant proposal.
